Amira is an introvert who loves being around people. She loves building communities and gathering in healing circles. At heart, she is a teacher who simplifies complex health science and speaks openly about heart and soul stuff. Her definition of wellness includes lots of smiles, human interactions, delicious food, music, joy, colorful paint, sunshine, blue sky, serene waters, and deep heart-felt peace. She loves books and art supplies and she is saddened by human conflict and intolerance. But, if you want the more ‘serious’ stuff… Here is her official bio: Amira Ayad is the founder of Women Whispers Academy where women learn to listen to their Body Whispers® before they turn into screams. She is a best-selling author, Natural Health Consultant, Registered Psychotherapist, and currently works as a Spiritual Care Practitioner at Scarborough Health Network. Amira holds a Masters degree in Pharmaceutics, a PhD in Natural Health, and a Masters in Pastoral Studies from the University of Toronto. She was a faculty member at the faculty of Pharmacy, Egypt; and at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition in Toronto.
