Accommodations
Five Oaks welcomes groups of all sizes and has several different accommodation options to suit your needs. Whether it be a private room, dorm-style shared rooms, bunk beds or summer cabins – for the week, the weekend, or just for they day – Five Oaks has it all.
Those who rent our facilities can enjoy the beautiful grounds, walking trails, outdoor fire pits in the summer, and indoor fireplaces in the winter.

The Main Building
The Main Building is ideal for larger retreats, consisting of 23 bedrooms that are ‘dorm style’, simply furnished rooms with twin sized beds and shared washrooms. There is a total of 53 beds in the Main Building. This space is best suited for groups of 20 or larger.
Included with overnight rental of 20 or more people is one large meeting area. Break out spaces are also available. There is free Wi-Fi in the Main Building.
The Retreat Houses
Five Oaks has two wonderful retreat houses – the Peace House and the House on the Hill. These accommodations are ideal for small overnight groups looking for privacy in a self contained space. Both houses have fully equipped kitchens with dishwashers and free Wi-Fi.
Peace House
This cozy stand-alone house is close to the Main Building. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a sitting room, and a porch next to the playground.
House on the Hill
Located on the peak of the property, the House on the Hill is perfect for groups of up to 10. This multi-level side-split house has 4 bedrooms, 2.5 washrooms, 2 sitting areas, and a dining area. There is a large fire pit in the backyard.
The Chalet
The Chalet is a great shared accommodation. It has a more cozy feel than the Main Building. The Chalet offers close access to a large playing field, wooded area, nature trails and the outdoor labyrinth. It is a self-contained building with 5 bedrooms consisting of bunk beds, 4 washrooms with showers, meeting area, dining area and large working kitchen. This house sleeps up to 25 guests, with a 10 guest minimum. Cooking/eating utensils are included.
The Summer Centre
The Summer Centre is open May through October, weather permitting. It can accommodate 63 guests among a variety of rustic cabins, each with standard camp style bunk beds. There are 15 units total, 3 have their own washroom with shower, and 12 units share an outdoor comfort station with washrooms and showers.
Included with overnight rental of 40 or more guests, the Summer Centre Dining Hall offers groups the option of cooking for themselves and provides a large indoor space perfect for doing group activities on a rainy day! Cooking/eating utensils are included.
The Hermitage
The Hermitage is a wonderful space for a private retreat or couple’s getaway. It is a quaint 1 bedroom self-contained cottage located steps below our Main Building. The Hermitage has a double bed, washroom with shower, kitchenette, sitting area and a lovely deck.
Camping
Five Oaks sits on 116 acres of land, with many beautiful spaces to stay in nature and pitch your own tent! Comfort stations with washrooms and showers are available for campers. This option is great for groups looking for the full outdoor experience, or for retreats with greater numbers of guests than there are beds.
Motorhomes, Campers, and Travel Trailers can be accommodated on a case-by-case basis. However, there are no on-site hook-ups available.
