Owling and Fireside traditional teachings and stories
November 28, 2020
A November Saturday evening adventure!
We will gather at the fire circle beside the river as the sun is setting and the full moon is rising. By the light and warmth of moon and fire, we will hear stories and traditional teachings from our Haudenosaunee friends Pat and Linda. Afterwards, local nature educator Laurel will take us out into the woods to call and listen for (and maybe see?) owls.
This outdoor event will practice good social distancing and we ask participants to please wear masks.
Afterwards, you can pick up a tasty take out dinner from our chef to eat by the fire or to take home.
Aim to arrive at Five Oaks by 4:00 pm.
Dress for the weather – this program happens entirely outside. Program will conclude at around 6:30
(indoor washrooms available)
