Five Oaks has been monitoring closely the developments of COVID-19 and is following the instructions of all levels of government. Our efforts to mitigate its spread are guided by the research and response by Brant County Health Unit, The Government of Ontario, and the Government of Canada. The safety of our guests and staff is our top priority. We are providing here a full description which outlines the steps that we have taken to date.
Five Oaks Centre requires a contract staff Donor Development, Grant and Fundraising Coordinator to work with the Executive Director to increase givings through donor development, generate funding through effective grant writing, and organize fundraisers and special appeals.
3 positions – Indigenous communities; Settler Communities; Newcomer/Muslim communities. Five Oaks’ vision is of Partner Program Coordinators working together to develop program initiatives for the diverse communities which Five Oaks serves and seeks to serve.
This has not been the year we expected it to be, yet it has been a year when we have had to adapt, grow and stretch. I have begun to see pandemic time as Sabbath time—a time to focus on deepening our roots as an Interfaith Retreat Centre.
