Staff News and Opportunities.

 

Did we tell you about our Financial Administrator?  Pat Bowlby joined Five Oaks in the spring.  Pat is a local Paris person, previously at the Paris Fairgrounds, and before that as a local bank manager.  In fact, she recently discovered a letter addressed to Yvonne Stewart from her bank position.  Pat has been a significant part of the transformation, both physically and process based since she arrived. ** Our Oaten Institute Program Administrator is Sharon Hull.  Sharon has been so busy working on United Church of Canada programs that we haven't had time to connect to write a bio!  Sharon can be reached at  oateninst@gmail.com

 

Rev. Pegi Ridout agreed to come on board to assist in the transition to our new Operations Manager staffing model.   Pegi was a past Executive Director and is an interim minister in the United Church of Canada. She can be reached at hospitality@fiveoaks.on.ca

 

 

With great enthusiasm, we also wish to announce that Michael Shewburg will join our Five Oaks team as Operations Manager, commencing August 10, 2017! Most recently Michael served as Program Coordinator, Canada Program, People in Partnership at the National Office of the United Church of Canada.  Prior to this role, he served as the Minister to the GO Project, a ministry of Islington United Church in Toronto. it's not news but Tom Hunt continues to serve faithfully and work his magic. We are ever thankful for his presence.
